Antiphons

Antiphon (n.) In traditional Western Christian liturgy, a short sentence sung or recited before or after a psalm or canticle.

Edward Peklo, SVD decided this was something he wanted to introduce to the SVD/USA Novitiate Program, creating antiphons based on the life and spirituality of Arnold, Maria Helena, Stollenwerk and Josepha Stenmanns, the co Foundresses of the Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters and Mary Michael Toennies, co Foundress of the Adoration Sisters. It is his hope that these antiphons represent the richness of the charisms inspired by the Holy Spirit and rooted in Arnold Janssen.
