September 12, 2019, I was sent to join our International Tertianships Program in the Trinity Province, Philippines South. It was a blessed year of integration formation. Past life experiences, God’s work/ training, community life, and apostolate ministry experiences. All of these elements came in great varieties and were further diversified by the pandemic. The Tertianship program strengthened and enriched my life as a Holy Spirit Missionary Sister. It was very difficult to come back to the USA on time for my Perpetual Professional due to the Pandemic Covid-19; therefore; I professed my Final Vows with the other seven international Tertians in the Philippines. I am glad that I made it back to the USA safely on September 7, 2020.
I appreciated the warm welcoming home from all the sisters here in the USA. I had my quarantine for 14 days in the Convent of the Holy Spirit, and after that, we had a Thanksgiving Mass on September 27th when I received my profession ring. In conclusion, I have now joined my Community members in Epworth, Iowa.
We, Holy Spirit Missionary Sisters, are an international religious community of women disciples. Empowered by the Holy Spirit we invite people to a deeper communion with the Triune God by living and proclaiming the Gospel of joy, love, peace, and justice. In dialogue with people of diverse cultures and traditions, we minister together with them in promoting human dignity, life-giving relationships, and care for all of creation.
